Do You Remember When?
One fateful day in May
When each we went our way
Unsuspecting that somewhere
Cupid was planning our affair
His plan confirmed that we would meet
And of the apple we should eat.
For Cupid knew, and with a smile, he
Unleashed the serpent with beguile
Left the rest to chance, as he departed
His job complete, for he had started,
The wanton flame within our skin
For lust and passion and mortal sin.
The ageless action easing our plight
Unfolded rapidly, and in plain sight
We launched and flaunted our appetite
Thought we so keen and erudite
Neither prince or pauper, knight or knave,
for we were as close as a Burma Shave.
